Second City Cop reports an embarrassing arrest guaranteed to result in a big payday for a freelance press photographer whose only crime is apparently being faster than an over-hyped, overpaid, and over-exposed Monique Bond, spokesperson for the Chicago Police Department.

The CPD has many “spokespersons” whose one and only job is that of a press liasion on part of the Department and to act as Public Information Officers in times of great distress / serious incidents. Spokespersons have no police authority and no arrest authority other than that stated in IL.C.S. 725 (107-3), and that applies to all Illinois citizens.

Monique showed up to a crime scene that was under on-going investigation only to find out that a freelance press photographer beat her to it, and ordered him to stop while citing some vague statement about there being a law against photographing police or crime scenes under investigation. She (Monique) then had the photographer arrested while he was standing on PRIVATE PROPERTY with the OWNER’S PERMISSION far enough away from the police activity that he could not possibly have been any element of interference.

Officers at some point asked the photographer if he would go to the station with them voluntarily due to a problem with his ID and he sat in an interview room for hours, then being told he was under arrest without having been read his Miranda rights and his video camera confiscated along with the tape inside, and hundreds of still photos were erased from his digital camera. Police state that the digital camera was returned.

Yet again, CPD Officers have abused their power for no other reason than to intimidate the media into submission as if to say “You can’t film us, you can’t photograph us, and you can’t show up at a scene to report the news.” This message directly gives the impression that the 1st amendment is dead in Chicago. Don’t be surprised if the charges get trumped up and yet another scandal erupts.

Chicago residents are not going to sit idly by as a police state takes hold, and our rights continually violated. Shame on Monique and shame on these Officers for knowingly, willfully, and maliciously following an order from someone without any authority to give such an order! 

Our city needs to cry out for the firing of Bond AND the Officers whom committed such a vile act! Absolutely disgusting, inherently evil! Where is Jody Weis in all of this and why hasn’t he done anything? Maybe there will be some luck in the end, maybe this photographer will get the charges thrown out. Let’s all keep a positive tone on behalf of our wronged comrade!  

WBBM 780 AM is reporting an investigation in progress by the Chicago Police Independent Review Board involving multiple complaintants who state that CPD Tactical Officers used pepper spray without provocation and that the celebrants’ conduct may have been lawful.

In a time when the CPD is trying to come out from under a long history of verified misconduct, should the Department be taken over by the Feds as the Cicero police were some years ago? During that time, the Illinois State Police patrolled Cicero, Illinois and also hired the new department members from the Chief to the street officers.

Under new requirements added in 1995, the Chicago Police Department requires at least an Associates Degree from any accredited college and in any subject. An interview with CPD Officers wishing to stay anonymous has revealed information to the effect that the Chicago Police Academy can successfully be passed by a three year old and that recruits only have to meet minimum standards to be certified on paper as competent to perform work as a Police Officer. These Officers also stated that the Chicago Police Academy used to be more “Military like” when compared to the CPD Academy of today.

A popular Chicago Police Blog says that the Department has eight significant problems and lists then in this order as quoted from their publicly available site:

Racial, ethnic, and psychological profiling have long had the Chicago Police Department on the list of “terrorist- like” or “rogue” departments. It was only recently that John Burge, a past CPD Commander was indicted on allegations of lying about torturing those in his custody and in the custody of his Officers under his command during his CPD tenure.

One problem that the CPD blog didn’t list was forms of everyday misconduct by it’s Officers such as conducting stops on individuals or groups of people who were obviously not doing anything that could reasonably be called suspicious. On these stops, Officers routinely make serious pointed allegations and spew racist / sexist comments to those being temporarily detained with the only objective being to induce fear into the citizenry only based on the fact that they have the star allowing them to do it and also a loosely defined understanding of what their boundaries are, what “probable cause” is.

In December of 2007, a Chicago Police Sgt. was heard openly telling someone complaining about this type of behavior during a stop that “The police can stop anyone, anywhere, for any reason they want because it’s completely legal. We can stop anyone at any time and ask for their name, social security number, and address without explanation because during that time, unless you’re an attorney, you don’t have any right to know anything.”

This typical response represents an increase of this kind of thinking by police which is then carried out and defended in court or defended by the involved officer in an administrative inquiry / investigation using the argument of an Officer always being more credible than a complaining citizen because the complaining citizen is likely to be seeking vicious retaliation.

When Chicago police officers are accused of wrongdoing, they fill out what is called a “TRR ” in response to a “CR Number”. The TRR states on a pre-printed form that the officer is not admitting any guilt, but is only responding “Not voluntarily, but under duress” because he/she realizes that their job could be in jeopardy if they don’t.

Citizens of Chicago need to stand up & demand an end to police mistreatment of the citizenry. This is not a problem only for people of color, people of ethnicity; this is a problem for all the citizens of Chicago. Jody Weis has not made life any better for officers serving in the department either, giving rise to great concern that police Officers may choose to retaliate against the citizens of Chicago given that the Department often traps it’s officers into a catch 22 forcing either side’s hand.

Each valid suspicion of any wrongdoing by those we trust to be in harmonious relationship with the community, those we trust to be respectful of everyone they encounter when it isn’t contradicted by behavior that would reasonably cause an officer to act harshly, causes citizens to fear unjustly. Scared citizens make for uncooperative citizens, citizens that will think twice before treating an officer with any sort of respect when they just may be repaid with a beating or even worse. 

Someone needs to do some real DEEP housecleaning in the CPD!

November 4th marks a rally in Chicago’s Grant Park at which Obama will be present and tickets will be required to even be IN the downtown area, and transportation to downtown Chicago will be extremeley limited.

The Chicago Transit Authority has announced what little options are available to the area in which Obama will have his rally. Who the hell invited this poor excuse of a human being anyway? It sure wasn’t the people of the city, so you know it had to be Daley and his cronies trying to make a quick buck. 

The citizens of Chicago had no say of whether or not they even wanted Obama here in the first place. The people of Chicago didn’t even get a public hearing to sound off on what is sure to be a day and night of havoc. One can be sure that there will be protest groups and others who will voice their protected 1st amendment rights in the form of an active yet peaceful gathering, but knowing Jody Weis and the feds he is so tightly in bed with, these groups are sure to be tucked away where their public show of speech will not be noticed by even the media. 

Why Obama is being allowed to continue his run for the presidency is at question because he hasn’t allowed his nationality or his birth origins to be examined or made public. A lawsuit has been filed and accepted by a court pointing out this blunder and is in the waiting queue to be heard. If the court decides that Obama does not meet the requirement of being a citizen born in the U.S. and he wins, or has already served some time in office, it is expected that sesnitive national security secrets would have already been divulged to him and that a huge problem will then exist.

Throughout his run for office, Obama has made himself look like a heaven sent angel. Truth be told, he’s too good to be true. The history of politics in the united States has been continually frought with serious misconduct and Obama will not be any better. No matter who wins, the U.S. is in huge trouble. Politics has not served to make life better, but has only divided the people of our nation through manipulation and conflict created benefitting only teh politicians involved.

It’s always been said that there is no such thing as bad publicity. When one’s name and face are in the public light, it’s always a bonus no matter what the outcome, as it always results in book and movie deals. Add to that, the sales of propaganda which boosts the income of the political individual for whom it represents.

90% of voters are only supporting Obama because he is black, and it would make world history for the U.S. to finally have it’s first black president. Anyone of any race or ethnicity should be allowed to run and hold office of they win, provided that it isn’t BECAUSE of one’s race / ethnicity, but because the candidate can truly meet the needs of the nation and give the people back what is rightfully theirs.

Labels for political factions such as “Liberal”, “Conservative”, “Independent”, and so on are for identification purposes only. They do not truly tell anyone anything about a candidate because in the end, we’re left in the hands of someone who is a professional liar and thief anyway. All factions are guilty of boosting one another as we all know. Who does Obama even think he is? Why did the feds stop the assassination attempt not long ago? Was it because they want a crack at him themselves such as what happened in the Kennedy case?

Screw Obama and the camel he rode in on! As a matter of fact, screw all the political parties and the U.S. political system itself as far as one’s foot can enter up their posteriors! If Obama wins, he will create a system of white slavery and only promote the African American special interests which will create a system of segregation such that whites will be treated as blacks were all those decades ago.  What does that solve?

On behalf of the American people, Mr. Obama….go away and please don’t let us see your face or hear your name again! You are hiding behind red tape and everyone knows it. You went to a school that still holds ties to active terrorist groups, never denounced your ties to anyone or anything destructive to the American people, nor have you been honest in the least. On behalf of the people of the city of Chicago…leave our city as soon as you can. We don’t want you here nor do we want any other politician here either! Your kind has repeatedly mucked up life for all of us here, and we have not one shred of credible reason to trust you. 

Mr. Obama, you are a liar like all other politicians and if you win, and if you are allowed to stay in office, none of us will miss you when your term is over. Like all other politicians, you are a nightmare in the process of happening and you will undoubtedly leave us all in a deeper hole than anyone else has. You are not accepted in our country nor our city because the wrong motivation is behind it all. Taking a presidential election only to make history and for no other reason is not a reason to ruin life for all of us, much less one person. 

When will the American public wake up and realize that our constitution was written with the only intent so as to allow the country to govern itself without political factions? None of us want to pay two hundred grand a year to anyone, much less a president. There is no such need for a high salary like that. If people can’t live within a reasonable budget like the rest of us commoners, who do they think they are to demand such a high unreasonable salary? American people, make a statement by NOT VOTING FOR ANYONE! NOBama! No McCain, no one! Without a vote, there cannot be a president nor can there be any other elected official. By playing the vote like that, we the people can ensure that the country is handed back to us without interference. Make your voice heard by not voting, period!

Students at a suburban St. Louis school could face disciplinary action for planning something called “Hit A Jew Day” and then following through. Possibly five students may face suspension for making unwanted and insulting physical contact during a day in which they were targeting jewish students at a school where less than 30 students are of Jewish descent.

Parkway West Middle School has found itself in a boiling controversy over the actions of this handful of students who lacked ethical and moral thinking skills critical for good personal judgement. Prior to this event taking place, students participated in “High Five Day” and other innocent games until a teacher was smart enough to catch on to the behavior of suspicious students and three students who are Jewish received minor injuries said the school.

The most serious incident of that day took place when one Jewish student was slapped in the face. At this juncture, there appears to be no police involvement and nothing more serious is planned for consequences for the students who committed what would be a hate crime by anyone else’s standards.

Outrage should be taking place nationwide to protect others from these students who seemingly cannot decide what appropriate ethical behavior is. In most other states, these students would have been arrested and would have to go through the judicial system to resolve this instead of just being given a slap on the wrist.

There is a difference between boys being boys and boys being hateful. This author is perhaps the first person to openly call this for what it is…a form of hate expressed in public where learning and a secure environment should have taken precedence. It now becomes a question of where these students got the idea and why they thought it was such a cool thing to do.

Hit a Jew day wasn’t such a hit and serious consequences need to be handed down starting with police intervention and a good encounter with the judicial system. Reality needs to be pounded into the empty skulls of these young miscreants before they re-offend and truly cause serious injury or death. Do the parents of these boys think this is all just kid stuff?

Perhaps these students got this idea from home? Home is, after all, where this should have been detected before it had a chance to make it through the planning stages. Where were the parents to supervise these criminals? Yes, I said criminals as in what these students did was criminal.

Let’s talk about what the Jewish people have been put through over the ages. Back in the early centuries they were persecuted by a king who took over their land and ejected them without cause, then there was Hitler and the death camps, and in the modern day Jewish places of worship are still sometimes defaced by ill-minded persons. This event has potential to bring back sore feelings for good cause.

That the principal did this assembly garbage to teach religious tolerance isn’t good enough because it isn’t about religion at the core of the matter. This whole fiasco is about what and who the Jewish people are as human beings, as a culture, and as the root from which we understand the very foundation of mankind started. Jewish people come from all races, ethnicities, financial status’, political conviction, and class of life.

Jewish people can be white, mixed, you name it. Perhaps a good education in suffering of the Jewish people should be mandated for these students who thought they were just the thing that day. I don’t mean any candy topped education either, I mean a face to face meeting with the Jewish community and some of the family members who are survivors by blood of holocaust victims.

How about a trip to Israel so these students can see some of the condition in which some of the Jewish people are forced to live in as the Palestinians run it in a certain region. I don’t think they would just be sorry that they carried through with their misdeeds by hitting Jewish students, but sincerely reformed to say the least!

However, since political correctness has once again run amok via this slap on the wrist they will get, we can rest assured that we will once again hear of these students as more serious criminals in the future. If they had “Hit A Female Day” they would have been the focus of a nationwide news special. Had these students had “Hit A Hispanic Day” or any other “Hit Someone Day” we can bet that world war 3 would have broken out and more serious consequences would have immediately been at play!

Everyone needs to write the school and demand equal treatment for Jewish individuals attending any school in respect to someone who commits any physical crime getting the same consequences as if they had hit a non-ethnic person. Where is this principal’s head at? Never mind, that is easily answered. The school board should fire her and expell these students, end of story.
